Description

No. 17 on St James' Street is a shop built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features a pantiled roof. The building stands three storeys high and is divided into two bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century glazed shopfront. Above this, the facade is recessed with thin pilaster strips and a cornice. Each floor has two sash windows with glazing bars, which are topped with gauged skewback arches. The roof is hipped.
