Description
The Laurels is a house built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a black glazed pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the ground floor, there are two flush moulded frame sash windows with glazing bars, which are set under flat rubbed brick arches that have central keystones. The first floor contains two straight lintel windows and one central arched headed fanlight window, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance features a central six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed, and is topped by a sunburst glazing bar arched fanlight. There is a wooden porch with a corrugated iron arched roof. The house has a ground floor plinth and a first floor plat-band, along with raised brick quoins and two end gable stacks.
