Description
Barwick Hall is an early 19th-century farmhouse. The building features a west wing constructed of Flemish bond red brick with a black glazed pantiled roof, and a rear wing made of red brick with a red pantiled roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The west wing includes two ground floor segmental tripartite sash windows with glazing bars, topped with camber-headed brick arches. On the first floor, there are three straight-headed sash windows under flat arches, also with glazing bars. A central mid-20th century glazed porch has been added to the front. The roof is hipped and has two eaves stacks on the east side.
The three-bay, three-storey rear wing is at right angles to the main structure and features one ground floor plate glass sash window and a three-sided canted bow window addition with plate glass sashes on the south side. This wing also has a central 20th-century porch addition, along with three sash windows with glazing bars on both the first and second floors. There is a two-storey north outshut and two end gable stacks.
