Description
Hall Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of Flemish bond red brick with black headers and a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century windows that have been inserted into original segmental arched brick heads. The first floor features three 20th-century windows in earlier openings, with two of these being narrowed. There is a 20th-century brick porch addition. Architectural details include a ground floor plinth, a first floor plat-band, and a dentil eaves cornice.
The south gable displays an external chimney breast with set-off angles and a stack that includes an inset panel. The north gable shows evidence of brick and flint work that predates 1700, which is encased within early 18th-century brick quoins and a string course. This gable also has two blocked first floor windows, a brick gable with "S" purlin irons, and a 20th-century stack. At the rear, there is a two-storey outshut that consists of two builds.
