Description

CASTLE RISING TF 62 SE 6/5 Lamp post at TF 6660 2473 c50m north-west of Barn at Castle Farm (q.v. 6/3) II Lamp post, war memorial, dated 1919. Square oak post c2.4m high with wrought iron straps; wrought iron octagonal lantern with scroll work to finial. Small commemorative plaque to front of post recording its erection by the people of Castle Rising.
