Description

This is a lamp post and war memorial located approximately 50 meters northwest of the barn at Castle Farm in Castle Rising, dated 1919. It is a square oak post about 2.4 meters high, featuring wrought iron straps. At the top, there is a wrought iron octagonal lantern with decorative scroll work on the finial. A small commemorative plaque on the front of the post notes that it was erected by the people of Castle Rising.
