Description
Wolferton Station's left gatepier and lantern were built in 1897 and are part of a pair. The gatepier is made of brick and features a stone cap, which is topped by a lantern made of cast iron on a thick twisted stem. The lantern has four splayed faces, each adorned with a parapet displaying the Royal achievement, and it is finished with a finial shaped like a crown. This structure is included for its group value.
