Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house built in the late 18th century, with some mid-19th century details. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features six bays, with the central two bays projecting forward under a pediment. The entrance is located to the left of the centre, framed by a moulded Gothick case that includes a four-centred arch topped by a square hood. The windows are mostly casements that have been renewed, set beneath segmental gauged arches. A flat brick string course separates the two storeys, and a moulded brick eaves cornice with dentils extends into the pediment, which has a circular attic light and a gabled back leading to a hipped roof. At the rear, there is a two-storey mid-19th century extension with a hipped roof that ends in a lead flat. A quadruple flued gault brick stack is located at the junction of the main building and the extension.
