Description
The utility block immediately east of Number 244A in Great Yarmouth is a former ancillary building to the naval arsenal designed by James Wyatt in 1806. This single-storey structure is constructed of red brick and features a roof made of Cumberland slate. It measures five bays by three bays. The south face has a central round-arched carriage entrance, with two unhorned sash windows (3/6) on either side, all topped with gauged skewback arches. The returns of the building each have three unhorned sash windows (3/0). A dentil eaves cornice runs along the top, and the roof is hipped. The interior is plain. The building is currently used for light engineering works.
