Description

This is an estate cottage located immediately north of the Buckinghamshire Arms, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The cottage features a pebbledash exterior over a timber frame and has a thatched roof with pantiled additions. It is 1½ storeys tall. The elevation facing the road includes a central boarded door flanked by two 3-light 19th-century casement windows, with an additional casement window on the first floor to the right. There is stuccoed ashlaring around the openings. Each gable has pantiled lean-tos, and there is a 2-light casement window above the lean-to on the south gable. An internal red brick stack is located at the north gable. The west wall has two entrance doors with a 20th-century metal casement window in between, along with 19th and 20th-century 2-light casements in the lean-tos.
