Description

The village stocks, dated 1804, consist of a pair of oak posts topped with pyramidal finials. These posts are joined by a bottom oak rail and a hinged top clamping plank, both featuring cutouts for heads, hands, or feet. The top plank is secured with a continuous wrought iron strap, which is hinged along its top edge and has an eye on the left side for attaching a locking device.
