Description
The White House is a mid-18th century house constructed of stucco and white painted brick, topped with a slate roof. It features a square, three-bay hipped design, with an additional hipped roof section to the northwest and a linked gable range to the southwest. The northeast elevation facing the road has three bays, while the southeast elevation also has three bays, including one window on the left side. There is a string course at sill level, with projecting panels beneath the windows. The façade is adorned with pilasters that support consoles and a cornice around the sash windows, which have glazing bars. The first-floor windows are framed with moulded architraves. The eaves are moulded timber, and there are gault brick chimney stacks with moulded brick caps. A flat-roofed extension on the northeast side contains a six-panel door, while the northern range features parapet gables and a mix of sash and casement windows. The northwestern section is noted as not being of special interest.
