Description

The Ruined Church of St Peter consists of a ruined church tower and the remnant of a north nave wall. The tower is heavily overgrown with vegetation. The structure is built of flint with stone dressings, and incorporates 16th-century brick. It is believed the church was already in a ruined state before 1602, and exhibits architectural details characteristic of the Early English style. The history of Horstead and Stanninghall is associated with the site.
