Description

Stanninghall Farm House is a mid 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick with a pantiled roof. It is two storeys high and features a lower wing to the north, creating an 'L' shaped plan. The main facade faces south and has five windows, along with a central timber doorcase that includes pilasters and an entablature. The entrance door is partly glazed and has sidelights with glazing bars, topped by a wide semi-circular fanlight with decorative radial glazing bars. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set beneath segmental gauged brick arches. The house has wide eaves and a hipped roof, with two set-back axial stacks. The lower wing to the west and north is not of special interest.
