Description
Crow Steps is a house built in the early 18th century and later modified. It features a red brick exterior and a steeply-pitched pantiled roof. The main facade faces east and consists of five bays, with rubbed brick arches over the openings, which are cambered on the ground floor. The house has 20th-century six-light casement windows and a central doorway that includes a 20th-century glazed door and fanlight. There is a moulded brick string course at the first-floor level. The house has crow-stepped gables at both the north and south ends, with internal chimney stacks. Additionally, there are two dormers with shallow-pitched roofs and casement windows. Later wings have been added to the east, also featuring crow-stepped gables.
