Description

Spratts Green Farmhouse and Barns is an early 19th-century farmhouse accompanied by various outbuildings. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and features metal casement windows with glazing bars. The brick arches are rubbed, and the building has plain brick angle pilasters. The parapeted gables incorporate internal chimney stacks, and the wide eaves have a pronounced overhang supported by plain brackets. A central doorway is framed by a simple doorcase. A catslide extension projects from the north side. An east-facing wing is built of brick and pantiles and includes an attic. Further brick and pantile outbuildings and a barn are situated on the north and west sides of the farmhouse.
