Description

This milestone, located on the north side of the B1354 approximately 280 meters west of Flashpit Farmhouse, dates from the 19th century. It is made of white-painted limestone and has a rectangular shape with a pedimented top and chamfered corners facing the road. The milestone features incised black lettering that indicates the distances to Norwich (12 miles) and Holt (11 miles), positioned above the name of the parish.
