Description
The barn located 50 metres north of Halvergate House is a mid 18th century structure built of red brick and topped with a thatched roof. It features a five stead design with a continuous outshut to the south and remains of a cart lodge to the east. The barn has 20th century sliding doors across its door openings and stable doors on the south side. There are lozenge-shaped honeycomb vents on either side of the door openings and on the gable walls. The gables have parapets with brick tumbling. Inside, there is a 12 bay butt purlin roof supported by tie beams on wall posts. This barn is included for its group value with Halvergate House.
