Description

This is a small barn and attached granary located approximately 20 meters north-west of Church Gate Farmhouse. It dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. The barn is constructed of red brick and features a steep pantiled roof, while the east gable is rendered and timber-framed. The south wall includes a window and two stable doors. The granary is attached to the east gable and has a pantiled and weather-boarded upper storey, which is supported by four pairs of posts with braces to the tie beams. It also has a staggered butt-purlin roof. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
