Description
Nos 11 to 13 Market Place are a group of three buildings dating from the 18th century and early 19th century, with some earlier work now covered. The buildings have two, two, and three windows at the first and second floors, respectively. They are constructed of red brick and feature hipped, pantiled roofs with small wooden eaves cornices. The sash windows have gauged flat arches, with some altered and others retaining their glazing bars.
No 11 has a wooden shop front with entrances on either side and an altered interior, along with a lozenge-paned casement window at the upper floor at the rear. No 12 has a modern shop front at ground level and first-floor casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. No 13 features a 19th-century shop front with a central entrance and an additional entrance to the upper floor, which includes a three-panel door and a fanlight.
