Description

These are almshouses built in 1861, made of brick with gault brick dressings and topped with gabled slate roofs. The building is single-storey and consists of a central range flanked by cross wings that have shaped gables. The front and rear feature banded courses of gault brick. There are two symmetrical porches on the main range, each also with shaped gables. All the windows are timber cross casements. The central range has two double flued ridge stacks, with one ridge stack on each of the cross wings.
