Description
The building is a former school room located in the churchyard, west-southwest of the Church of St. Peter. It dates from the mid-19th century and features a combination of gault brick and a red brick rear wall. The east gable end is faced with flint pebbles and has a plain tile roof, although it is severely obscured by ivy.
This single-storey structure has an east gable end that includes a partly blocked two-light Y-traceried window with a keyed rubbed brick reveal. The gable is adorned with clasping brick angle pilasters and a crow-stepped design topped with a moulded pinnacle. The south facade consists of three bays, featuring two blocked windows beneath skewback arches that flank a central doorway. The west gable end has a former arched window that has been converted into a doorway, also with clasping angle pilasters. A chimney stack is located on the rear wall.
