Description

The remains represent the north-east crossing pier of what was once St. Augustine's Priory church, originally dating from around 1146 to approximately 1150. The remains are constructed of flint and rubblestone, now of indeterminate form and without original facing materials. The site is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and has the County number 136.
