Description
The Fox Inn is a public house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from rendered and colourwashed brick, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and features three doors, with the central door located under a gabled 20th-century porch. There are ranges of casement windows on both floors, each with hoods supported by label stops. The roof is gabled with a bell base, and there is an internal gable stack on the north side as well as a ridge stack on the south side.
Inside, there is a good open fireplace made of local bricks in the lounge area. Some studwork has been retained as a free-standing partition, and there is a plain chamfered bridging beam.
