Description

The remains of the Church of All Saints, located in Garboldisham on Water Lane, are primarily the remnants of its tower, which dates from the late 14th century and was demolished in 1734. The structure is built from flint with ashlar dressings and features two stages with diagonal buttresses. The west window is set under a depressed arch and currently lacks tracery. Above the string course is a trefoiled lancet, and there is a two-light belfry window with a four-centred arch. The tower is topped with a parapet that has brick crenellations. This site is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, with County No. 78.
