Description

Buckenham House is an early 19th-century house located on Cake Street in Old Buckenham. It is constructed of gault brick, with the returns rendered, and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three bays. The central entrance door is flanked by two rectangular overlights and is topped by a flat hood supported by console brackets. The ground floor has sash windows, each with similar hoods on consoles, while the first floor features three sash windows, all of which include glazing bars. A brick string course runs along the first floor, and clasping pilasters are present at the corners of the house. The roof is hipped and has two symmetrical stacks, with the returns designed in a similar style.
