Description

Eastview and No 1 Chapel Hill Cottages are two houses that were built as one around 1630. The structure is timber framed and features 19th-century brick facing, topped with a roof of black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys, with doors located to the right and left under rendered segmental arches. The ground floor includes a 20th-century casement window and a bay window, while the first floor has three 20th-century casement windows. The roof has a bell-based gable, with a ridge stack positioned left of centre. The south gable is roughcast and includes a drip shelf and a weatherboarded gable head, along with bargeboards.
