Description

Chapel Hill Cottages are a group of houses built between 1615 and 1635. They are timber framed with rendered wattle and daub infill and feature pantiled gabled roofs. The three southern houses are one storey with dormer attics, while the two northern houses are two storeys. Most of the external detailing dates from the 1970s and early 1980s, but several original mullion windows remain. Each of the three southern houses has one sloping dormer that contains 20th-century casement windows. The roofs have ridge stacks.
