Description
The bridge at Sennowe Park, built around 1910 by G.J. Skipper, is a road bridge constructed of brick with stone dressings and concrete vaults, designed in a Baroque style. It features three segmental arches, each with large rusticated double keystones. The vaults are interconnected by three penetrating vaults on each side of the central vault. Above, there are low parapets with balustrades and occasional ball finials on the middle sections. The parapets are finished at each end with square-section stone pillars, each adorned with lion's head carvings surrounded by laurel wreaths. The design includes modillion cornices and ball finials mounted on gadrooned bases.
