Description

Brick Kiln Cottage, located 580 yards north of the Dog and Partridge Inn, dates from the early 19th century. The cottage features a brick plinth and walls made of plastered clay lump, topped with a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys high, with an entrance doorway in a lean-to that abuts the north wall. On the ground floor, there is one central 2-light casement window that has a square head and trefoil lights. The first floor has two identical windows that are symmetrically placed. A ridge chimney is centrally located on the roof.
