Description

The Dog and Partridge Inn, along with two integral dwellings and a post office, is a public house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a pantiled roof. The building comprises a public house, two dwellings, and a post office all under one continuous roof. It is two storeys high, featuring casement windows with brick surrounds. A brick eaves cornice is level with the wall. Four chimneys rise from the ridge, indicating the original division of the properties. A brick gable has raised coping and an internal stack on its north side. The south gable is brick with rebuilt tumbled stonework. The post office and adjacent dwelling have modern casement windows and a single central stack.
