Description
This is a range of houses and shops located at 2, 4, and 6 Earls' Street in Thetford, dating from the early 19th century but altered in the late 20th century. The exterior features a gault brick skin over a core made of flint and brick, topped with a pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high on a corner site. It has a plate-glass shop front at the corner with a central door that now leads to an internal lobby, and there is a side entrance on Earls Street. The windows are sash style, with those on the ground floor set beneath segmental heads. The roof is gabled, with a hipped section at the corner. Inside, there is a late 20th-century staircase and other details. This building is included for its group value.
