Description
The Garden House, located 30 metres north of Letton Hall, is a garden house dated 1882, as indicated by the moulded brick on the chimney featuring the initials R.T.G. It is constructed of brick and topped with a thatched roof, featuring an octagonal plan. The entrance includes a 2-leaf part glazed door beneath an open porch made of un-hewn timber. The pitched roof extends through the main roof, and there is a partly external staged chimney stack with a pitched stone cap. The building has four semi-circular headed windows with angle rolls, topped by a conical roof. Each of the four windows contains stained glass that represents the seasons, with a simply designed female figure in each window engaged in a seasonal task.
