Description

Home Farmhouse, originally a timber-frame building and subdivided into two dwellings, dates to the 18th century. The original timber frame has been partly rendered and replaced with brick, with a later returned gable-end and a rear brick extension. The roof is tiled with pantiles. The farmhouse follows a lobby-entrance plan and is two storeys high. The facade features eight 18th-century, three-light mullion and transom windows, fitted with metal casements and some surviving leaded glazing. A 19th-century gabled porch is located opposite a central axial stack. A later gable-end stack is also present. The eaves feature shaped sprockets. The rear brick extension is not of particular architectural interest.
