Description
Manor House is a farmhouse dating from around 1800, formerly part of the Holkham estate. The building features gable tie-ends that form the initials T.C., representing Thomas Coke of Holkham. It is constructed of brick with a colourwashed facade and has a plain tile roof. The house is two storeys high and has six bays of sash windows, some of which are blind and include glazing bars. There is a barely perceptible bay irregularly positioned between the second and third bays from the east. The entrance is slightly off-centre and features an aedicule with a partly glazed door and a traceried semicircular fanlight, flanked by windows with glazing bars, all set beneath a three-centred arch with a pediment above. Additional architectural details include a dentil cornice, two axial stacks, and one stack on the rear wall.
