Description
The gates and screen of Brocket Park, located to the south-west of Brocket Hall, were erected in 1935 by the second Lord Brocket in memory of his parents. This structure features wrought iron gates positioned along the main axis of Brocket Hall, including large central double gates and single side gates. The gates and intermediate panels are adorned with elaborate foliate wrought iron cresting, and the panels display small heraldic motifs at their tops. The screen is set on a low brick wall, with scrolled panels placed at intervals. Terminal red brick piers with moulded stone cornices complete the design.
