Description
The Old House is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, constructed with a timber frame. It features a 19th-century plaster front and a plain tile roof, which is supported by three corbelled red brick chimney stacks. The building is single storey with attics and has a 1-storey southwest extension from the 19th or 20th century. The main range includes four casement windows with glazing bars and three large and one small eaves gabled dormers. Inside, there are two heavily framed bays; the southwest bay has 16th-century studs and a floor beam, while the northeast bay features a chamfer stopped beam and a four-centre arched red brick fireplace.
