Description
Millhouse is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of purplish brick in Flemish bond, featuring red brick segmental arches over the openings, and has a Welsh slate roof with brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with an added outshut to the rear left. There is a plinth, and a central 20th-century wooden door is situated below a two-pane overlight. The windows are 12-pane sashes set in reveals, with the one above the door being narrower. The raised verges are notable, and there are stacks at the right end and to the rear left. The right corner and the right return of the house are pebbledashed. At the rear, there is a window on each floor to the left. The left return has one window in the outshut and one window on each floor of the main range. Inside, the house features panelled doors, panelled sections below the windows, and a staircase with a closed string that retains some stick balusters and columinar reveals.
