Description

No. 27 North Common Road is a house built in the mid 18th century, featuring early 19th-century details. The building is constructed of chequered red brick and has a plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high and has two sash windows set in moulded flush frames. The central door is framed with reeded detailing, supported by shaped brackets and topped with a flat hood. Above the door, there is a blank window. The house has a moulded wood eaves cornice and a chimney stack on the left, which is enclosed by a weatherboarded outshut from the 18th or 19th century.
