Description

This is a house dating back to the 16th century, although the front was rebuilt in the early 19th century. It has a low-pitched slate roof with projecting eaves and a low gable end. The house is three stories high and has two windows. It is constructed of painted brick. The recessed sash windows have glazing bars and stone sills, with flat brick arches above them. An Edwardian shop front has been added to the ground floor. Numbers 18 to 28 George Street form a group.
