Terrace of 2 thatched houses, formerly several cottages. Late C17 or early C18. Timber frame. Plastered walls. The thatched roof is in 3 sections, including short C19/20 addition to Mansdale at E end. One and a half storeys. 5 regularly spaced wide eaves dormer windows. The two houses have square red brick central chimney stacks. Thatch End has 2 box thatched bay windows; Mansdale has 4 2-light ground floor casements. All windows are recent leaded casements.
