Description

No. 37 Church End is a house that was originally two or three cottages, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It was refronted in the early 19th century and is constructed of painted brick. The building features a steep-pitched plain tile roof with a plastered square chimney stack located at the front of the ridge. The eaves are adorned with dentilled brick. There are four windows fitted with recent casements, and a central door, with blocked doors on either side now replaced by narrow casements. The roof structure includes clasped purlins.
