Description

12 George Street is an early 18th century house that stands two storeys tall and features two windows. It has a high-pitched, tiled roof. The first-floor sash windows have glazing bars and are set in slightly projecting box frames, suggesting that there may have been earlier timber construction within the building. On the ground floor to the left, there is a carriageway that belongs to the adjacent property, No 11. To the right, there is a modern shop front that is designed to fit in with the overall appearance of the building. Nos 11 to 16 George Street form a group.
