Description

Tankerfield House is a late 18th century red brick house that stands two storeys high. It features two windows on both the south and east fronts, with a parapet that conceals two hipped slate roofs. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged brick arches, and there is a blocked first-floor centre window on the south front. The entrance is accessed by steps leading to a door that has two fielded panels and two glazed panels, set in a panelled reveal and centrally located on the south front. The doorcase is adorned with an order that includes fluted pilasters, a modillioned cornice, and a pediment. The house also has a rendered plinth.
