Description

Pemberton Almshouses, built in 1582 and later in 1627, consist of a row of six one-storey dwellings. They feature a high-pitched, tiled roof supported by three pairs of tall, diagonal chimney shafts. The structure is made of red brick, showcasing alternate courses of stretchers and Flemish bond. There are three pairs of plain, round-headed doorways and six small, two-light, leaded windows set in cemented openings, each topped with a narrow brick label.
