Description

This is a row of three early 19th-century buildings on Fishpool Street. The facades were constructed of red brick with a brick eaves cornice, all beneath a steeply pitched, tiled roof which is of earlier origin.

No. 114 is two storeys high with two windows. It has sash windows with glazing bars, set within near-flush, moulded frames, with a single-light window on the first floor and a three-light window on the ground floor. The windows are topped by brick arches. A brick plinth is present at ground level. A reproduction doorcase, featuring a moulded architrave, frieze, and pediment, frames a recessed door with six flat panels. A later door has been inserted on the left side.

Nos. 116 and 118 appear to have originally been one house with two storeys and three windows. The central first-floor window has been bricked up. All the remaining windows are three-light sashes with glazing bars in flush frames, with boxing on the first floor, and topped by brick arches. A pair of doors are centrally positioned under a reproduction doorcase similar to that of No. 114.
