Description

The Rose and Crown Public House, located at 10 St Michael's Street, has an early 18th-century appearance. It is a two-storey building with three windows. The roof is moderately pitched and tiled, featuring an eaves cornice of square section. The exterior is made of red brick with random blue headers. On the first floor, there are sash windows with glazing bars set in flush, boxed frames. The ground floor windows are wider and are set under gauged, segmental brick arches, having replaced the original sashes with glazing bars. The entrance has a plain doorway, and there is a gabled rear extension.
