Description

The Six Bells is a 17th century timber-framed house located on St Michael's Street. It has two storeys with a three-window main section and a one-storey, two-window extension to the south. The house features a high-pitched tiled roof with an old brick quadruple chimney stack. The first floor has exposed timber with brick infill, while the ground floor is later brick. The first floor has restored casement windows with glazing bars, consisting of three-light windows on either side and a one-light window in the centre. The ground floor has similar windows, along with sash windows and a small gable above the entrance in the south extension.
