Description
3 and 5 Church Street is a building from the 18th century featuring a plaster front and a steeply pitched tiled roof with three hipped casement dormers and a modillioned cornice. It has two storeys and five sash windows set in slightly recessed broad frames. There are five stone steps leading up to a six-fielded panelled door, which is framed by fluted pilasters and an entablature above a rectangular fanlight. A first-floor band runs along the building, and there is a canted bay window on the left side of the ground floor. This building is part of a group that includes the Church of Saint Mary, the Churchyard Wall of Saint Mary's, and Nos 1 to 13 (odd).
