Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, featuring a timber framework covered in plaster and an old tiled roof. It has three storeys in the front block and a long, low brick wing. To the right, there is a tall carriageway with a floor above that overhangs. The entrance includes an eight-panelled door. On the south side, there are two pairs of small double light casement windows that have wooden tracery from the 15th or 16th century. A moulded bracket supports the overhanging part of the first floor. The Cottage is part of a group that includes the Church of Saint Mary, the Churchyard Well of Saint Mary's, and Nos 1 to 13 (odd).
