Description

23 Bayley Lane is an early to mid 19th century front to a likely earlier structure. The building is constructed of red brick and stucco, topped with a tiled roof that features two gabled casement dormers set behind a parapet. It has two storeys and attics, with a plinth and cornice. The façade includes one single light sash window and one triple light sash window, both with glazing bars and architrave surrounds beneath friezes and ground floor cornices. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight, all within a plain surround that has a cornice supported by consoles. This building, along with St Mary's Hall and No 22, forms a group.
